I’ve known Leslie for over 25 years, in the time that she and her brother worked for their Dad in the Rosenthal Insurance Agency. She is one of the most hard working, honest and smartest individuals I have had the pleasure of meeting. Leslie would be a bright light in the Mayor’s office and under her administration, the City and all of it’s citizens would be better off. Please vote for Leslie Jacobs!
I have known Leslie for over 20 years and was relieved when she joined the mayor’s race. Until then, I felt I was being forced to vote for just someone out of respect for my right to vote.
Leslie has dedicated her adult life to improving education in New Orleans and will bring this same level of commitment to the mayor’s office.
I have never met Leslie, but I been questioning my friends who do know her and have been assured that her motives for becoming involved are the correct ones. She has been successful in the private sector, demonstrated her ability to lead, is honest and motivated to move this city forward. We need someone to represent and lead us forward in a way that will make us proud. We need to be safe in our streets and in our homes. We need to have fresh ideas that will grow New Orleans and give our young families a reason to stay; to work and to live in our great city. After losing our home, our business and all our possessions, we decided to stick with the city and pray that the cream would rise to the top; I believe that LESLIE JACOBS is that person! using the old worn out tactic of stirring up factions against each other….She can imagine and produce..

Ms Jacobs does not know me and I have never met her in person but I hope others.. like me..just “regular New Orleanians” of every social level race and political persuasion have also watched her function and will conclude that…

Lelie Jacobs is by far what WE NEED in New Orleans. She will bring to the Mayor’s office the know how to get things done. She will listen to us and she will act – she will not just be another “talker”. No more politics “New Orleans Style”. She’s a mover and a shaker – Leslie is what New Orleans needs!
I understand Leslie is the best candidate by far inference to education. Her ability to accomplish, come through and finish positively the goals she has approached and taken on where others have failed. I personally know her parents. Leslie is most certainly our best hope to accomplish issues we all wish for on a daily basis. It’s time to vote on the ability of this candidate and not your party rather a democrat, republican or independent. Leslie is simply the best candidate period.

It’s so refreshing to see a person running for Mayor with a proven track record in Public Office as well as a proven success in business. This combination is the formula needed in a successful Mayor. Leslie has shown honesty, integrity and professionalism in all of her dealings. She is the best Candidate for Mayor of New Orleans. She is what this City has needed for many decades.
I am very excited that New Orleans finally has a mayoral candidate with a refreshing vision for the future of the city.
I live in Metairie, so I can’t vote for you, but would like to volunteer to work for your campaign. What happens in the City Of New Orleas affects everyone in the region so it imperative to move forward rather than having the “same old-same old” like we appear to be offered by the other candidates.
I used to live in the city but moved since one gets little for the tax dollars spent at present. I certainly would like that to change. I have lived in other areas of the country and this region is regarded as a political joke. We need to change that perception so that we can maximize whatever govements or businesses in the rest of the country want to invest in us.
I would like a comment to this email and am looking forward to your fresh approach to govement-something so sorely needed for many years.
While serving as Chairman of the Orleans Parish School Board Audit Advisory Committee, I had the pleasure of working with Leslie Jacobs to try to solve some of the finacial and accounting problems of the School Board. Although our work together was short lived due to the extreme turmoil that existed in the school system at that time; I observed, in Leslie, an energetic, well organized, intelligent person driven by her desire to make New Orleans a better place to live. Her strong management skills and inate ability and willingness to grapple tough issues breathed new life into our efforts to fix the school system and gave us hope for a better future. I believe Leslie Jacobs would be a great Mayor for New Orleans.

Friends: I LOVE what Ms. Jacobs has to say on crime along with other issues. On crime, she will hire a new Police Comminisher and if they don’t do the job, she will find someone who will. Now, that’s standing up against Politics. Couldn’t get better.
